MSc Renewable Energy Engineering

The Master Degree in Renewable Energy Engineering aims to train engineers capable of intervening in renewable energy projects, enabling them to design, analyze, conduct and manage these ventures in their technical, environmental and economic aspects, both in business and in a research context.

The provided competences give a broad overview of the energy problems in general and of renewables in particular, and in-depth technical training of some types of use.

The course conveys a vision mainly (but not exclusively) oriented for electric conversion, with a concern with the environmental and economic-legal aspects associated with the use of renewable energies.

MEER is taught in Portuguese. However, some teachers may, on their own initiative, use English in part of the classes, or in tutorial accompaniment, for the benefit of foreign students.
